Abortion and Euthanasia advocates are bulldozing bills through the New Mexico legislature to protect late-term abortion ... legalize assisted suicide ... and remove conscience protections for pro-life medical providers in the Land of Enchantment.
On February 26, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed SB10, repealing the state’s decades-old law which outlawed abortion except in certain circumstances. The bill overturns the 1969 abortion ban and ensures that abortion will remain legal in New Mexico with no restrictions, even in the event that Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in the United States, is overturned. Read More Here.
On March 15, HB47 passed its final hurdle in a Senate vote 24-17. The governor also signed this extreme bill which will allow assisted suicide drug cocktails by lesser trained medical providers, with a waiver allowing same-day-deaths, and will force unwilling medical providers to refer for suicide!.
